What Front Coil Overs to Get???

Some background info would help.
Is the car sitting high on just one corner? Or are you looking to drop the front end?

If one corner is sitting high, be aware that cutting that spring will raise the diagonal rear. Been there done that. My brother's 93GT sat very high in the rear driver side. Not wanting to spend money, we cut that spring and lowered that corner by about 0.75" to level it off. It raised the front pass side by about 0.25-0.5"

If you are content with the suspension right now and just want to level things out, cut the spring. If you want to do it right, get coilovers.

Was the car in an accident?
Got any pics of the ride height?

Also be aware that the Eibach Prokit is one of the softest lowering springs you can buy. I personally like low, but when I go low, I compliment it with spring rate...

FYI I am using H&R Race Springs and consider them soft.

I remember reading that the strut towers in our cars where never meant to support the weight of the vehicle and using coilovers can stretch or damage them withought some kind of re-inforcement.

I think I'm gonna go with the MM kit and call their tech line to find out what spring rate to get.

I'm also gonna get a PA Racing K member and tubular A-arms. It's more than I wanted to do this winter but I hate doing work twice.

you learn something new everyday, thats kewl. I didnt know the CC plates did that as well

I have the MM kit and have no problems I love it. Im running them with tokico illuminas. I wouldnt even look at any other kit cheaper then the MM one, if you got cash to burn look into the K&W? ones.
