What Gas Mileage do you get?

I get about 260 miles per tank, thats 50/50 highway and city driving.. what i dont understand is the fuel light comes on when I have only used 12.5-13 gallons..anyone know why this is? I know there is a reserve but 2.7 gallons seems like a pretty big reserve!

I was just thinking the same thing the other day when i filled up. It only took 13.5 some when it clicked off. What is the rest of the 2 gal doing?

I get between 250 and 270 depending on how heavy my foot is. That is a lot better that the 180 i was getting in the begining but then again the first set of tires only lasted 20000 and they REALLY needed to be replaced before that!

i useally get around 230-240 before it get a little under the 1/4 mark... it useally only takes 12 13 gallons to fill it back up so im sure i can get more..

Mixed driving will get me about 18.5MPG, say 270-280 miles per tank. A tank with a majority of highway driving will do about 20.5 to 21MPG, a little over 300 miles per tank. Pretty good IMO, especially considering it's hard for me to keep my foot out of it.

I drove 1100 miles over the weekend and managed to get 28mpg. That's at 75mph with a K&N and SLP LoudMouth. Before the filter and exhaust I got 30mpg...
