What Gas Station Do You Use?

I go to Mobil stations. With my old Stang, if I filled up at anywhere else, the check engine light would come on. It never came on after filling up at an Exxon/Mobil station. Now, I will only go to Mobil.

Yep I use Mobil/Exxon ONLY and I try to use the same reststop on the highway all the time.

So far haven't had any problems. Gotta be careful when you need 93 and no 92 lol.

What about Sunoco guys? they have 93 and even 94 octane. The one up here even sell Cam2 race fuel....Mostly I use shell though and Sunoco when im going out crusin instead of daily driving cuz i think the Sunoco is a lil better and I pay the couple pennies more to get the 94 octane

Safeway. I run the cheap stuff with 17 degrees of advancement and have no problems.

Shell, I just throw it on the Shell card. I use 89 on the stang. I used to use premium (91) but I have heard from some that it is not good to use the higher octane fuels unless timing is incresed. So I just use a midgrade. Anyone have any input?

Thats what I heard too. I always thought running a higher octane was better for V8's But now i use regular since i heard it wasnt good to run higher.

I always use 89 octane at
Chevron because I never got a bad tank of gas from them and my
stang seems to run great on it! If there isn't a Chevron in the area
I will go to Texaco and run 89 octane there as I always got good gas from them and my stang does run great on it.

I usually use Petro Canada. They are typically "cheap" at $.70ish/litre. They ream us for gas up here. I stay away from Shell because they can kiss my ass, I'm not paying $.80ish/litre ... what a joke.

I've had more than one reliable mechanic at ford dealerships tell me that higher octane shortens the life of 02 sensors.

Exxon 93 from the busiest station in town, same pump.

I've always used 87 octane, because I have no performance mods, and because it gives the most power, if it does not cause knocking, which it doesn't, in my car.

I use mobile. I use to just use shell but they went to that cleaner gas crap and that gas just doesn't seem to last long at all. BP doesn't last long either. Mobile and all the gas stations that don't have that clean gas lasts the longest. Plus my cars performs better.
