what gear ratio do i have

Personnaly I cant answer your question on that detail. Although, IF YOU HAVE A 5 SPEED, tell me for example whats you RPM in 3rd gear at 60mph and I'll be able to help you. Need you rear tire size also. ex: 245/50/17

wow, 2.73. i'm really impressed with my cars performance despite the 2.73's.

if you think you may have something better in there, then what you can do is jack the rear end up, and put a chalk mark on the driveshaft. Then turn a rear wheel one complete revolution and count the number of revolutions of the driveshaft. So about 2 and 3/4 turns of the driveshaft would be 2.73s, 3 turns would be 3.08s, 3 and 1/2 would be 3.55s etc etc - you get the idea.

BTW, the axle codes are all listed in Chiltons.

That's the best way. If the speedo hasn't been corrected, then using the factory tach & speedo will not tell you that you have different gears. Have to use a GPS for the same trick.
