I have a Stock mustang with an AOD, this car will not be on any interstate where high speed is needed. So what gear would work best for street/strip driving? I think 4.10 would be perfect but my dad says thats way to much.

I agree,,if your keeping it stock,373's are your perfect gear.I just put 410's in my aod ( stock motor ) and its 2 tenths slower then my 373's.Hissing Cobra said:If it's a stock 5.0, then I'd recommend 3.73's. If you're not going to be revving it past 6,000 r.p.m's, then I think that the 4.10's-4.30's may be too much.

So do you think the 4.10s would help me with that? I sure dont like it when a little 4 cylinder can break his tires loose and then my 5.0 want.
