if you have a 5 speed 4:30's will run pretty high on the highway. Just go all out and get a viper 6 speed, and4:56's. just kidding, I love my 4:10's, but would rather have the 6 speed, and 4:56's. 80 mph is right at 3000rpm in fifth!!! good luck, chris

I'm buying 4.10's next month. They seem to be the happy median between daily driveability and acceleration

4.56 if you don't do much hwy driving. I don't either and I love mine. 65mph is about 2800rpm with stock 245/45/17's.

If you plan on highway driving and want to do better than 10mpg 3.73's are a good all around gear. just my .02

You can go with more gear on the 96-98 cobra beacause they are solid axle'd but unless you want to bounce all the way down the track, Id go with either 410 or 430, but 410 if you drive on the highway, 373 is a big waste of money, nothing wrong with those gears, but its not worth the money.

I get 18-20mpg doing 60-65 around 2600 rpm with my 4.56's. I agree that 3.73's are a waste of money, 4.10's are on the borderline.

Hey how does it accelerate with those 456, sounds fun haha, I d have gone with them probably if I had a solid axle.

I run 3.73, but i got blower. Seems like the 4.10 and up would just turn your rubber into smoke unless you went with wide drag radials. I noticed more wheel hop when i put the 3.73s in, even airing down i need to be carefull when i launch dont want to break my IRS
