What Guage Wire For o2 sensors?

what guage wire do i need to extend the oxygen sensors? could i just use a connector between the wires or should i buy an adapter harness? i'm not to fond of spending 30 bucks on some wiring that i could buy myself for like 5 bucks

i think the factory wiring is something small like 18 or 16 gauges.

I would use something like 14 but it may be bigger and tough to crimp to. I don't beleive a high load passes through the wiring so the smaller size may be fine. 5.0's don't use heated 02's

Mike, I do believe we do use heated O2's (HEGO's).

I'd buy a harness. A tiny amount of resistance in your wiring connections can make for errant readings.
