To be fair, the organization has changed a bit. Teck and Talk used to be on the same level. I got really tired of finding "what chrome wheels will fit" etc., type threads in the tech forum all the time. So I made tech a sub-forum for Talk. That makes the Talk section the "catch-all" you need to travel through to get to tech.
It's less often that threads need to be moved from Talk to Tech (because they're not pure tech, so to speak). The result is that a general.talk section became a bit more technical.
But... feel free. I tend to make [light] of the umpteenth threads for coolest wheels.
