What Happened With the R+P Kits?

Power steering gear boxes are geared higher, since they use engine power to help them turn they don't need the lower gearing. If your not going to use your PS system just order a manual rack and pinion and the effort wont be too much.

I took a 30 mile test ride the other day..... At rest the steering effort is much lighter, Ya dont have'ta haul on it, like Macho Man Randy Savage. In motion the steering effort is light & precise, with out being too sensitive. There is absolutely no slop in the steering any more, of course you'd expect that, but the driving with out slop leaves ya with a big grin. There weren't any twisty roads, around our area of Florida, but maneuvering around town & in traffic really shows the reduced effort. The car still needs a proper alignment & only a little living with the new R&P will tell all, but, Yeah I like my Unisteer.
A budd of mine with another 65 2+2, went through the install with me. At first he was put off by the binding problems, and canceled his order. Doug was on the test ride too. Bottom line Doug is looking for someone else who bought, and took delivery, but decided not to install and are looking to sell their Unisteer R&P for 65 Mustang.....anyone...???... Buerler??......Bueler???
