What happens if I don't use Polish Lok or ZFX w/ Zaino?

Just as the question asks, does it really matter if I don't use either of those with the wax? Will it not work right or something?

It will work just not as good. A polish like Klasse All-in-one or the like as your base with a pure carnuba wax will give you that wet look.

what will happen? you won't waste as much money....go with turtle wax extreme shine...I was all about zaino until I used that stuff....if you need more zaino...I will sell all my stuff cheap..

Z1 and ZFX are used to help the initial layer of Zaino bond to the paint. ZFX also serves the purpose of speeding up the curing time of Z2/Z5. For the initial layer of Zaino you should use Z1 or ZFX other wise Sal recommends you use Z1 or ZFX every 10 layers. You will need ZFX if you want to apply more than 1 layer of Z2/Z5 on the same day. With ZFX you can apply 3 layers in one day.
