hey all, i'm getting ready to reasamble the block i bought, i changed the cam(f303)
the heads are gt40 cast iron, i'm going to do some minor porting to them, my friend said that i should get thinner gaskets to bring my compresion up, what are my options ? i don't know if it matters but is going to be carb. and the bottom end is stock from a 94 or 95 gt with low miles, i changed all the bearings and had the crank polished and they also did the oil holes...
thanks for any help/info.

I am using Felpro 9333-1 on my SC'd application. The have a great reputation for survival and are less expensive than the Felpro 1011's.

I had the 1011's before and had to replace them due to seperation at the fire ring and that was pre-SC.

If you havent done this yet... have the machine shop mill .030 off and that will bump the compression, and have no intake manifold interface issues... cool??
Just me..................................

Thumper

PS I like the 1011-1 gasket.
