Hey everyone, I am going to be getting the Catback SLP Loudmouth from AM and already decided on an H Pipe. What headers and H pipe would I go with on the SLP? Also, if I got headers later on and just went with an Hpipe/SLP system that'll fit the stock manifolds before i get headers correct? Thanks!

When you get headers, depending if they are long tubes or not, you will have to switch out your h pipe for a short h pipe. SLP LM1's sounds bad with off road mid pipes. Get a high flow catted mid pipe and you are good to go!

Ahh crap another question, if I end up moving to MO I won't have emission issues, but in IL its once a year? ... i could just keep the factory crap and put it on day of test? Lookin like only catted shorty H pipe are the BBks

You will need to buy an aftermarket catted H. You wont be able to use your stock H due to the long tubes, and I highly doubt you will want to change out your headers every year for emmisions. PITA!

Oh, I thought the headers would pass, but the H pipe would be the problem. Hmmm is BBK the only company that makes a good shorty H pipe?

Ive been researching for lt's also.So far Im only finding BBK catted shorties.
But what Im thinking of doing is using Mac Lt's with Mac O/R H pipe then buying either Magnaflow or pypes cats to have welded to the Mac h-pipe.

Mac Lt's-$460ish(ceramic),Mac O/R Hpipe-$150ish and about $175 for the Magnaflow cats....that $785 plus the labor for the cats..not too bad.Unless Im missing something,I think I need o2 extensions.

My main reason for Mac headers is that supposedly you can still drop the tranny without removing the headers.
I want stay with the H and not an X,but x-pipes are easy to find.

UPR does something similar with a Mac X-pipe,they use a Mac O/R and add magnaflow cats since Mac doesnt make a catted mid from what Im seeing

JBA makes a set of mid-length headers and a hpipe but is lotsa $$$$$.

Also if you dont want headers,I think MRT is about the only one that makes a Catted H-pipe for stock, runs about $550 i think.

Yea that sounds like a solid idea. I'll probably just buy the LT headers with BBK catted H pipe and SLP loudmouth. If I am short on cash flow, i'll just get the SLP and keep the headers and mid pipe stock for now.
