what heads fit a ford 302 short block from summit?? \

what heads fit on a 302 ford racing shortblock from summit???? im havin more and more trouble with my block, its an explorer block and now i was told my gt-40 iron heads from a 93 cobra might not work, because of the way the oil is sent to heads on the explorer blocks.

is this true or is there away around this??

or am i screwed!!!

From what i know, its the same block. I dont see why there would be a difference.

as far as I know, all 302 blocks from 85-up are the same. Excluding the Ford Racing race blocks of course

ok, i bought this block from summit its the one for $1299 and i think it was made in 2000, im not gettin any oil to the heads when i prime the engine and the only thing a mechanic told me when he looked at it was that i need u lifters cause my old ones r to small in diamater there worn out.

but also a guy said that explorer blocks, get oil to the heads differently??

so im gonna call summit back and help would be apprecitated
