here is the break down guys, 331 stroker, long tubes, weiand stealth intake, 750 holley dp, 512 cam all on a roller motor...what heads would best compliment my setup. the car weighs 2900lbs and i want 11s

what kind of cam are you running again? 512 lift doesn't say much...

I'd say Eddy Victor Jr's, or AFR 205's and you also didn't mention if you're wanting to run a power adder or not...

wait a sec...your sig says AFR 185's...do you have the heads already?

well, if you're planning to use them, go for them-there's absolutely nothing wrong with the 185's and they'll more than likely yield you the power you're seeking...any power adders?

i only said get the 205's because once you hit 11's...the hp bug will come to you in your sleep again and again, and tell you that you want 10's...lol

IMO.... AFR 205's are too much for what it sounds like you have. They have 2.08" intake valves. Too much head and valve for a dual plane intake and 331 inches. For that engine I'd be looking at AFR 165 and (most likely I'd buy) AFR185's.

Yes I think the 225s are way too much head for that combo. Now paired with some decent comp, a Super Vic intake, carb, big soild roller, and lots of RPM it may work....although a 205 would be better suited.

If it has a blower it may change things...

I agree with tjm on this one, the 185's are going to be your best bet, not enough motor to take advantage on a 205.
