I am going to be doing a 4cyl to 351W(stroker) conversion soon. I will be using the 9.5 inch deck height Dart block, AFR 205 heads, and the TFS 351W upper and lower intake. I will be using urethane or solid motor mounts.

My qustion is what hood will I need? I want to maintain a sleeper look, so I don't want a big ugly (IMO) cowl hood. I was wondering if I could get away with a 2.5" hood?

Yes a 2.5 will clear. Just make sure there is no liner.

Thanks guys. What company should I go with? Cervinis? I have heard alot of badstuff/press about one of the replacement parts manufacturers. Was it CDC? I think it was a Canadian outfit.

Cervini's is realy good, the only downfall on using them is the price, but you get what you pay for.

Cervini's has a good reputation, best to buy one of them at a show/race so you can see/feel what your buying when posible.. ......Also checkout www.HOfibertrends.com Dave does some real nice hoods from tame to wild (I have an 8" cowl to windshield from him ) Alot of the real clean racecars in the magazines run his hoods and Dave is a good guy to deal with.....no

Would I be able to run the 1 1/2 inch hood?

I really want to attempt to maintain the sleeper look. Of course I could do a Saleen body kit, and that 2000 Cobra R hood...hmmm

I'm wondering the same thing.
If you used the HPM drop mounts then I'm sure the 1.5" cowl will work.
