I found out my pinging problem isn't what i thought it was. All this time, i thought the constant clicking or ticking was detonation, though i couldn't really tell exactly where it was coming from. Now, there is an audible squeak, squeak, squeak increasing with rpm's which turns into the ticking clicking noise. I'm thinking maybe the t/o bearing since it seems to be the loudest when i'm letting my foot off the clutch when starting in first, and shifting into second. I also think it may be a u'joint, but i'm not sure as how to check it. Please lend me some help. thanks
