for a GT40 engine with a cobra intake

and a custom cam would a 65mm be ok?

what is the opening on a cobra intake?

Does the "gt40" engine not come with a Gt40 intake? It flows just slightly better than the cobra I believe...

Alls a gt40 engine is...is a new bottom end (like from the factory) with an alphabet cam/gt40 heads, and intake...

The 65mm will be fine on that engine...

GT40 heads -- would that be the GT40 irons (Cobra, early Explorers), the iron GT40P's (late Explorers), the aluminum GT40Y's (turbo-swirls), the aluminum GT40X's (turbo-swirl Xtra Performance) or the GT40Z's?

The Cobra, GT40 and Explorer intakes all share the same "GT40" lower intake as far as the runners/flow goes (some drilled and tapped for different sensors, etc.).

As you can see, there's no such thing as a "GT40" engine.

My bad, I want to put basically a cobra engine in my car but with a custom grind

so I'm gona be hunting for some GT40's not "P"

and find a normal cobra intake and do some light work to the lower and port up the GT40's find a custom cam or a anderson cam and get a 65mm acuffab throttlebody.

I was wondering the opening size on the cobra intake though? and what size mass air would you reccomend?

I was looking at the densecharger set ups because they looked realy clean

I'm sry for the GT40 statement beleve me I know the varietys, I've been lookin around for some OEM ford parts for the daily driver and to pull 300rwhp with them

I was lookin at the GT40's and some windsor heads but I do not know where to look with the windsor heads, Is it possible that windsor some windsor heads flow better then the GT40's?

I'm kinda turned off with the GT40P's for the fact that it was on an explorer and that its hard to find some longtubes with them

is the GT40's a 64cc combustion chamber like the E7's ?

On your near stock car? The street heat is fine. I use it on my h/c/i car and its fine too. A track heat or am RPM will probably help me, but they really arent a cost effective mod right now. I run the 75mm TB and it works great! The Vortech im ordering will help me get more air in

Yes their is an engine based on that if you go by it's commonly labeled name...Gt40 engine...I hear people refer to it as this all the time...and I was simply explaining that all's the "gt40" engine is...is gt40 heads, same style shortblock with B303 or E303 cam and intake...I was saying that it wasn't anything special...

It is just over 3k...it has the SVO gt40's on it...
