I need something to tap to light my gauges. I need something that can support the three gauges, plus whatever else it is for.
You need a lighting source for gauges that are outside the cabin (like a cowl mount)?
I'd use a parking light wire - it'll be hot with the parking light and headlights on.
Good luck.
I was thinking that, then I thought I would want to stay away from the lights because of my HID kit, then I realized the parking lamps arent on the HID circuit.![]()
Thanks
Or you can just run a wire to were the e brake is and find the foglight power on. Thats how mines are......Only thing is that when your hi beams are on the gauges light dont work....But it dont bother me as if Im using my high beams I shouldn't be going fast to begin with
Thats when you turn them on the most.![]()
And Id prefer a wire outside since these are going in the cowl.
did u start mounting them yet or are u just making a plan of attack?

Thanks, now I just need to get it painted.wow eric that is ****in SICK!... that **** looks so good..
the closer to the headers, the hotter the wire will be

I ended up wiring it to the parking lights. I always have my gauges as bright as possible, so not being able to dim them is not a ibg deal for me.hmm, true about the clock circuit--only, i'd wire it to the circuit that turns on when the lights are turnd on (if not, so long as the car is in 'run', the gauges will be on, day or night).
that does look kick-ass, Eric!
