When I bought my car the guy described the motor as "roller motor bored .30 over." What is he talking about?

I know what bored .30 over is but not the roller motor part.

refers to the cam...hydraulic roller cam equipped engine. Your stang came from the factory that way, as did all 85-95's maybe even earlier..someone correct me on the years if I'm wrong.

The roller is refering to the lifters in the motor. On a standard motor the lifters, or tappets, are basically a hunk of metal that transmits the lift of the cam to the pushrod and opens the valves. Some are solid, literally a hunk of metal and others are hydraulic, they have springs and use oil pressure to keep the valve lash adjusted. But the are all flat on the bottom.

The roller lifter has a wheel on the bottom that rides on the cam lobes. reduces friction and allows for more aggresive cams than with a flat tappet lifter. There are both hydraulic and solid roller lifters as well. Stock the Mustangs HOs came with hydraulic roller lifters.

Does Full roller refer to lifters, rockers and cam?

If it has a flat tappet cam its not the original engine, if you didn't know already. Every 5.0 mustang from 85 up had a roller cam engine.
