What is the difference b/t the Focus 2.0 and the Zetec 2.0??

Title pretty much says it all, a friend of mine is wanting more proformance outta his daily driver Focus, but it only has the standard 2.0, five-speed, what are the differences in this motor and the Zetec and where would be a good place to find parts? Thank you in advance.

my girlfriend has a focus with the z-tech. Im not for sure if the reg. 2.0 is a dohc but I know that the z-tech is. Also the z-tech has variable cam timing,and I think its got 2 different size runners, kind of like the 96-98 cobras. Hope this helps.

The 2.0L has single overhead cams (SOHC) and the Z-Tech has dual overhead cams (DOHC) 110 hp and 125 ft/lbs vs. 130hp and 135 ft/lbs.
