what is the difference between early and newer bullit wheels?

Hello. What is differeny between the 01-04 bullitt wheels that ford has and the 05-07 bullit wheels? I am planning an 8.8 upgrade for my 66 and plan on using the wheels, but I have 06 bullits for mockup. I just want to keep my options open on the choice of wheels I have. Backspace, rim width, tire size, etc. any difference?

05+ have .25" more backspace and take 1.25" spacers to fit, and they look different of course (better IMO).

all thats different is the backspace? what about stock tire diameter or anything else?

Just want to make sure i know what I'm getting into

The 05+ have taller tires to fill in the bigger wheel wells. I think they are 27" vs 26" tires.

It is closer to .5", .57" actually.

2005+ = 6.29"
<2005 = 5.72"
