what is the dist. with the Hei setup on it for the FORD

I want this for my car so I can put the MSD in. I heard it is alot better than the stock one.

Davis Unified Ignition makes one as well.

i have pertronix and a msd digtal box and it is great almost the best money i have spent on the car... just waiting on the viriable timing box now for when ill be boostin 20 woot woot damn i love computers

Here's a picture of DUI unit in my Stang.



One major drawback is that you won't be able to use a 14" round air cleaner with it unless you use spacers and a modded hood to clear it.

I don't know about it being the "best" but I'm running a DUI and it performs great. Here's a picture:



As others have mentioned, it does ride a bit high, and getting a 14" air cleaner to fit may be an issue. I am running a Victor Jr. intake that has an air-gap style design, so the carb sits a bit higher than on a standard intake, and I don't have any problems with my 14" cleaner fitting.

That engine bay needs more than a cleaning. I'm plan on striping everything out and repainting that sucker when I need to do an engine swap.

whats wrong with the MSD pro billet distributor? it offers more tuning capablities than a GM HEI
