What is the law in missouri for tinted windows

I believe it is 35% now...including driver and passenger doors...best bet is to call a tint shop and see what they know then you can buy it you self if that is your plan

They are really funny about tinting the front windows in most states. Also see if your state has a AS-1 line law. That is how low they will go on your windshield. I just had mine done(18% all the way around). That was about as dark as you want to go without really making it hard to see out your windows at night. If you don't mind taking the chance of a ticket or spending a little extra money for a place to bend the rules you can get what you want. There is nothing worse than seeing a nice car with two different shades of tint.

In springfield mo. You can put anything on the rear windows, but the front driver\passenger has to be around 30%. You can have a strip on the top of the windshield down to the little line and arrow point. Should be the same there. However any place down here will put on whatever you want.

Nope, they changed it again...

It's as dark as you want on the back window, and corners (or back passenger windows on a sedan), and 35% on the drivers and front passenger side windows...and also you can have a sun strip on the windshield that's no darker than 5% and no wider than 6"...

I called a shop around town and rough estimate by year/model car they wanted 178.00 to tint rear, 1/4 windows, and driver/pass. Anyone have any better luck at professional install price. I am local st louis area but wouldnt mind hearin what other places are gettin.

If thats a good price i shoulda listened to my dad when he said "...you oughta goto TINTING college son, make a good livin.....hehehe"

I payed $160 for them to bend the rule for the 18% and windshield strip. When I was in KY I had got my GT done for $135. Only catch was the two front windows weren't covered by the warranty.

That seems like a pretty good price...I had my rear done in 5% a couple years ago for $120...my corners were already done in 5% but they need to be redone and I need the sides done now that it's legal...

I had mine done at Quality Window's and Tint on Manchester Rd, and they have a lifetime guarantee that if anything happens to the tint they'll redo it for free...they also airbrush the dots on the back window so there's no bubbles and it looks really good...

I like the idea of a warrenty, bad tint can look real bad...lol....does the air brush look good?
