I am tracking down a coolant leak on my engine and have a basic question. I recently added a blower and AFR heads to my 5.0 block. I noticed that there is a fairly significant fluid leak coming from the back of the block. The tuner thought it was hoses but it is not. I think it may be my MLS head gaskets are not sealing properly.
I have one thing I wanted to confrim before I rip the engine apart and put on normal head gaskets. There is a hole that is threaded located on the back of the block that is just behind the intake manifold. I noticed it is threaded but does not have a plug in it. By chance is this a port for the water temp gauge or something that is tied into the cooling system?
