What is this part called?

It is the black metal pipe/hose that screws into the lower intake manifold above the thermostat. It runs right along the valve cover back into the firewall and also splits off to a hose that runs through the egr.

i beleave its the heater tube or bypass tube .... i think lol

Its the Heater Tube, it supplies coolant to the EGR spacer and to the heater core......also contains the coolant temp sensor.
