I've been thinking about polishing my wheels myself, if I do it what would be the best kind of clear to spray them with?
What kind of clear to spray on polished parts?

I'd go with none. I do not clear any of my polished parts. Just keep on top of them with a metal polish.

Hey guys, guess what--I have a bi-pass!!!
When I polished my brake calipers, I left one bare and sprayed the other with the clear engine paint that you see in pep boys. I probably put about 400 miles on the car since then and the one that I painted has not discolored or chipped off at all. Seems to work well.

I have polished a few of my engine componants )upper intake,alternator,tensioner,steering pump bracket,valve covers),and didn't clear anything.I use Mother's Billet Polish,and they stay shiny.I get under there occassionally and re-polish when I'm cleaning,but they continue to look nice.
