I Have Nitto 555r's right now but they sure don't last long. I got a year out of them. What other brands are out there that will be good for the track and daily driver? Are Mickey Thompson ET Streets drag radials? I'm looking to try something different.
BFG makes drag radials, Mikey thompson makes them too. I read a magazine once that compared them and the mikey was said to be the best. Not sure about the daily driving though.
I think the Nittos are the best for the street, and will last the longest. I just added some of these to my car and they actually work very well. First gear is a little touchy still, but most of the time I hook when I hit second. These tires made the car a lot more fun, and a lot faster. I think you should just stick with the Nittos.
I have regular nitto 555s on my car and they hook pretty good after a good burn out. Unfortunately I have to spin about 4k miles off of them to make them stick like glue.
