I got a wild hair the other day to get a T56....................until I found out there's no scattershield for it. :nonono:
yea cant be putting together a car like this and decide you want to go run FFW and get turned away because of your tranny....besides this[race prepped] is the strongest tranny available for our cars...waaay stronger than the T56.....even the viper spec t56..............

You guys are killing me! My list of items keeps growing and growing.

Actually I'm very glad you started this thread Dave. I was just thinking about the driveshaft the other day and didn't know at what point it exceeds it's stress limit. Very helpful topic here. :nice:

yeah..very good info to know about. Now the total pricetag to meet my goal just jumped by 20%....hehe
well...one thing I've told people from the beggining when I started thei project...I LIKE MY FEET. Get a driveshaft saftey loop right away so you dont get catapulted down the track and a pissed off driveshaft beating on your floor. With a clutch holding back 600-700rwhp like mine will be doing..., it will be nice piece of mind to know that the bellhousing will catch it all...not nice to see a broken clutch cut thru the floor and then the dash and then out the window...scarey as he$$..I Like my feet.
If you dont have a loop.....get one now guys..
