What kind of maf is this? Pics!!!

The top of it is a Pro-M but ive never seen that casing before. BTW this is my friends car and were trying to forget out what kind it is, he said its from a supercharger Maybe a blow throw

Hey, it looks like a piece of cardboard blew up on the engine while you were taking the picture. Can you get a shot of the deflector without the cardboard?

That is a Pro-M 77mm Cast Alum meter...

You may be able to contact Proffessional Mass Air and they can tell you exactly what that was calibrated for since it appears some one scratched it out.

is that card board over the filter? your buddy will notice a even bigger difference when the engine compartments on fire

Tell your buddy to get a 3 in Anderson Power Pipe and put that thing out in the fenderwell if he's going to use it. The card board thing is about as ghetto as the Altezas. That meter is not a blow through by the way. That's an older style housing and unless the electronics have been swapped into it from another housing then it's a N/A meter. Blow through's are designed to be installed between the blower and the intake. That housing is not designed for that.

Edit: BTW... the link for the new Pro-M is in my sig. It will cost your buddy $100 plus shipping to get it flow bench tested to find out how it's calibrated.

He only did the cardboard thing to see if he was getting any fan wash into the meter or anything.

Seems like the Power Pipe is the only way to get the filter or maf in the fender since the filter is like bolted on to the maf...unless u made a flange and made all the parts urself. Its calibrated for 24lb injectors which he has, is this the same as a n/a pro-m maf like they sell these days but just old school? or was it made for some other purpose?

It is the same as the newer ones and should work just fine.

It is a metal casting like mentioned before.

I had one on my 88 GT back in 96, although I think I came up with a little better sheild. lol...
