The Foxy Body i'm looking at has the following mods.

It's a '90 Coupe Mustang LX 5.0

5.0 FI converted to Carb
Holley Systemaxx Aluminum Heads
Weind Aluminum Intake
Holley 4150 Carb
Cammed
Hooker headers, x-pipe, dual flowmasters
Aluminum radiator with electric fans
MSD 6al box
MSD coil
5-spd
3:73 gears

What kind of power would I be looking at? It's a first street car (i'm 19) and I want something that is fairly quick, but not an all out rocket for a first car. What do you guys think?

What's your definition of a rocket....because that car will be pretty darn fast. A lot of guys rack up stock 5.0's as a first car, let alone a heads, cam, intake car.....just be careful with that thing, and don't go full out until you know the car well. Oh yeah, and I estimate 280-300 rwhp....depending on the cam of course.

the cam could tell us alot

....so would the carb size. 4150 is a model#. How 'bout CFM?

If its working right your combo could be worth more peak HP than everybody is estimating and also a lot more RPM depending on the cam (at least 6500rpm). The thing that you will lose a lot of is torque. It's unfortunate but that's the trade off- carb vs efi. If everything else is ok I think you could break into the 12's on slicks. You at least have the parts to do it.

It is a 750 cfm carb.

I can't remember the cam size. I'm wanting to say perf. stage III or something like that. The owner doesn't know the duration, etc. etc. However, the owner says at idle, you can DEFINATELY tell it has a cam. I will try and find out the details if I can.
