what kind of transmission does

depends on how you drive it...i have 22k on mine, with absolutely 0 problems so far...others weren't so lucky...several have gone through more than one, but i guess it's hit or miss...this was also the first 5spd i've ever owned so they weren't easy miles either

what is the TSB?

Stands for "Technical Service Bulletin" delivered by Ford. It is an internal memo referencing a known issue with a motor vehicle. The one mentioned earlier is in reference to the notchy shifting of 1-2 in the Tremec 3650. Hope that helps! :nice:

Yeah, there is the Tri-Ax and the new kid on the block, the MGW...but let's not forget the best one - Pro 5.0.

^ Agreed Pro 5.0 is the best IMO. I have NEVER heard anyone coplain about the Pro 5.0 EXCEPT for the crapy handle they provide with it (TOO short),(and ofcourse everyone notices a slight noise increase...steeda is the worst) but when you switch to the steeda handle it is PERFECT. Never heard ANYONE complain about that combo.
