What kind of welders are used on exausts?

Migs? I used a tig last week I think a tig would be too much for an exaust system no?

most shops use migs because their easier and cheaper.

both of my brothers used our mig on their custom exhausts and it seemed to work fine for them. I'll probably do the same some time.

MIG, TIG, stick, wire flux core, it will all get the job done when talking about exhaust. Mig would probably be the easiest, cheapest, and fastest, though.
