OK, I'm back after putting the fastback on the back burner due to lack of funds. My ship has come in (well canoe anyways) and I'm ready to do wheels/suspension & brakes.

I like Big-Mac's wheels. What are they? Also, I've got a 9" rear end from the previous owner. Anyone know what I can fit in there for a wheel/tire?

If I go with the Cobra disc conversion up front and some 17" or 18" wheels, what sort of suspension should I be looking at? From reading some old threads, the GW kit might interfere. Is Dolfan's kit available yet? What about TCP?

Thanks

So they aren't available in 17x8 like everyone recomends for a vintage Mustang.

I like the more traditional "deep dish" look of the 10.5 wide ones. Any thoughts on narrowing the 17x10.5 wheels?

Is there a photo with Big-Mac's car with those wheels? Are they the 18 x 8.5?

I think that the fronts were 18x9 but he had the fronts to 18x8.
