Dude, EF the BBK Intake...I have the SSI on mine and it sucks...

I have a stock long block, X heads, E cam, SSI Intake, 30# injectors, 75mm MAF and 70mm TB...I'd say it makes 290-300 to teh wheels, about 350 at the flywheel. I'd think you;d want more cam...F cam maybe? With a Track Heat intake I'd guess near 400 at the flywheel...

thanks for the info on the intake, which intake seems to be the best choice for a street driven and somtimes takin to the track car, 300 doesnt sound bad, i would like around 350 or so to the wheels but i would probley have to do a stroker kit or forced induction i guess.

I'd def. go with the Track Heat intake and Anderson cam. I figure that it would be good for 325-340 at the wheels. I have X heads, E cam, SSI Intake...someone with the same set up made 294 at the wheels. My car has been 12.0's like that...so you should be able to run 11's!

what sux about the SSI? I have read that they have huge quality issues that take some fabbing to get past, but I have lead on one that is dirt cheap. with new rails and a fuel crossover it shouldnt leak fuel, do they just not flow well?

Now that your changing up afew things the power could varry quite abit. Looks like 300-330 rwhp is likely with a systemax.

More quality and fabbing issues. I figured with fuel lines, spacer etc it cost me close to $800 to put it on. The crossover tube leaked and leaked, but after playing with it it finally sealed. Also, the intake creates enough vacuum to suck oil up from the valve cover. We have it all unhooked right now, but the motor isnt properly "sealed" and does have a minor leak.

As for flowing, it is better than a Cobra and the car did pick up...but it does not compare to a TFS or Holley. The RPM range I keep my car in at the track it would be much happier with a Track Heat...

I have an adj. FPR I got from Steeda years ago...I needed to get the phelonic sacer so the upper would clear it. It's like if you dont use BBK [roducts on it then it wont fit. The stock fuel reails wouldn't meet the rails, so we had to run braided line..etc. Also, the throttle will hit anything taller than a stock valve cover. The spacer will fix that. Also, couldn;t get the EGR on there, so we made a plate and blocked it off. That's no big deal for me...but may be for you. It seems like when we got one thing to fit...something else didn't. And the techs at BBK sucked and were worthless in helping me out when I called.
