what kinda Tranny fluid for T-56??

The T-56's take ATF. I would stick with the GM Synchromesh considering the type of blocker rings that it uses.

What type of T-56 is it?

Im pretty sure its a 03-04 cobra tranny.

im using the royal purple syncromax. been using it for about 2 months now, no complaints. it does seem to shift easier, almost as if the fluid is thinner.
btw, i switched from regular dex III.

In the svt forums i hear a lot of people running GM's synchromesh and i even hear ford recommemds this in the t-56's.

I believe Uncle Meat told me this but dont quote me.
