Ok... I was driving down the highway at about 60-65.. i have a 94 cobra t5 tranny 102k miles... I had sped up to about 65 passing a car when the car started shaking pretty severe. next things i know i hear a very loud pop and the shifter seriously blew out of the tranny in my hand and flew into the back set.. but right as this happend i managed to clutch it before it blew out.. there is tons of oil comming out i can see into the tranny through the shifter hole and there are parts of the tranny laying on the ground.. i have no idea how this happend let me know of any ideas..

Wow! Thats why I did some preventative maintenence and swapped to a 3550 before my stocker blew! If you need a stock T5 lemme know, I have one.

Will your T5 fit a fox body 88 GT? My friend is looking for one in good running condition.

Exactly why I'm saving for a g-force/super t5 before dumping $$ into go fast parts.
