What meter? 85mm or 92mm??

need a new meter and was going to get the PMAS 92mm but seen you can get a 85mm for close to half the price...what do you think..is it worth the money for my combo to get the 92mm??

I've no idea what these meters are like down low but I'd look into it. The one that provides the best resolution at the bottom end is the one that I'd go with for a street application. With your mods and 42's my thought is that the 85 will be more than adequate to feed your combo. It will also be easier (less expensive) to plumb it all up to a cold air kit.

It strikes me oddly that you are running, and asking about running a different size but still smaller, MAM than what your TB is. I've never seen that before. I would think the 92mm would be where you would want to be.

yea, but from what i understand the maf being larger then the tb is just a myth

It's only a myth if your TB is too large for your application and not being used to its available capacity.
