I found myself a sweet deal for some Bassani longtubes and I am buying them tomorrow. Now I need to pick a 3" mid pipe. Obviously I know I can run a 3" bassani X pipe but i'm wondering if a mac prochamber will work? What are YOU using and how is the fit?

Also, the bassani longtubes come with a slip on ball/socket 3" collector correct?

Mike

I do know that to run the mac Lts you need a mac h pipe or something equivalent.. I would call mac and ask if the prochamber would work with the bassani's.

Anyone else? I just paid for these headers so I need to find out what other mid pipes I can run besides a 3" bassani x pipe?

Anyone ever try a prochamber with bassani LT's?

Just buy a dr gas xpipe (just the crossover) and buy some pipe and make what you need from there and you also save on money this way !

Thanks for the idea. I'm not worried about saving money, just looking for my options for 3" mid pipes that directly bolt on.

No, I am getting the 1 5/8-1 3/4" Bassani's. I'd love to run those but for $275 to my door I wasn't passing this up and one of the collectors has an extra bung welded in for a wideband!

Go here for part #'s and specs: http://www.panhandleperformance.com/bassani.html The ones your lookign at are $700 Thats why I grabbed these used smaller ones I sent Ed the for sale link and he told me to buy them.

Thanks buddy. Why doesn't Bassani have these part numbers on their website! I take it your lt's were an ebay purchase?

I found them in the classifieds on www.nmraracing.com and I grabbed them If you go on the more race oriented sites, you'll find good deals on good parts. Troy (redsnk95) was selling a set of 1 3/4" ceramic coated Kooks longtubes for $550. I know Perkys stang is selling a set of uncoated 1 3/4" Kooks longtubes as well (new in box) for a friend. I inquired about those but I decided to pass on them.

$700 for a new set of bassani 1 3/4-1 7/8" longtubes IMO is insane!

Kooks and Bassani are the most exp[ensive headers i've seen. Here is Kooks site: http://www.kookscustomheaders.com They are not too far from me,, but i'm not 100% sure if they sell to the public, just dealers.
