I would like to install a new setup to replace the mach 460. Has anyone done this or have any goods ideas on head unit to use?

I just bought a 1998 Cobra with the Blaupunkt San Jose cd/mp3 player, and it works great. Combined with the Blaupunkt 5-disc in-dash changer makes for a perfect combination.

You cannot go wrong with a pioneer, or even alpine for that matter...i've always found both to be very reliable and feature packed.

I just put a kenwood 522 in my ram. I like it. It isn't as pretty as a pioneer 7500 but it gets the job done and it's satillite ready and mp3able, you can convert the cd changer input to an aux input for a laptop or something and you can convert the rear speaker rca to a sub input.

Depending on your budget, I'd say an Alpine CDA-9811/9813.
