what mufflers for our 4.6? *URGENT*

If yu want power you should look at a cat-back setup vs just welding in mufflers on the stock 2.25" pipe.

Later down the line when you want to do a mid pipe you'll regret not getting the cat-back

I know every little bit counts, but a catack is good for 2WHP max. A midpipe is way more important....

whats up with these newbi threads lately?

Cat back, the difference between Best to worst - power wise is something like 1 or 2 hp.
With weldin muffler, just pick one you like for sound.
I personally hate weldin idea, but i understand some people is tight on budget or whatever the case might be.

Well from what I understand Flowmaster's actually rob horsepower, but they sound so good it was worth it to me... I think magnaflows will give a horsepower increase but it will be so slight that you wont feel it.

Even if they do rob power i still they they sound the best. I only have a cat-back, shifter and 13" front brakes as performance mods...so it doesn't make a different to me

The difference in HP muffler to muffler is minimal. Even if my flows cost me 5hp over some other brand, I'd still take the flows because I love the sound. For a street car, you should be buying a muffler based on sound not on performance.
