I will say i spent an hour on dail up trying advanced search for this answer, so i'm sorry i had to resort to a new post if there's already some.

1995 mustang... first off, factory are ours 15'' or 16" wheels.

What i want is steel 15" ers for my car cause they're cheap and tires are too for me that size wheel. (p.s. it's winter and my tires are bald) (and i have zero $$ for Z rated 17's for my 10.5 and 9 wide rears and fronts)

Will 15's fit, and then... will RAnger, Explorer, Crown Vic, 150 ... lincoln grand marquis ...anything fit besides a mustang wheel?

I can get a set from a 97 Crown Vic.. maybe some rangers...
Ranger and Vic wheels are cheaper also at the yards...
So please help me in my urgent quest for steel wheels that will be cheap at the junk yard and still fit.
Or where i can find information... i honestly have to try to get them by next fri and sooner is better than later. ...my fronts are smoothe and my rears have maybe 1/8 at the most tread. i hate being broke!

i've seen mustang bullit rums on 96-01 explorers, so i would assume a 15" explorer rim would work on a mustang?

Most 15" wheels will work......explorers, crown vics, rangers, some lincolns will all fit. just ask the guy at the junkyard to take one home and test fit it. Make sure it doesn't rub on the caliper and you can turn the steering wheel from lock to lock. I'm not sure about the taurus, but I'd lean more towards no.

well i was thinking all those but read in my search somewhere that the offset on the ranger doesn't work.
I did get ahold of a local tire shop and he said the crown vic wheels 93-01 should work, i forget if they're the exact off set or not but supposedly work.

going to the yards today hopefully in this probably 8"-12" accum snow here! blah. i got cold and has stayed friggin cold. ya ya i know thats winter.
I'll let ya'll know if anyone is interested when i get them on.
