ok cool man. thanks for the Convo and ideas. I'm just not sure my wife thanks you lmao.I'm headed to bone yard this weekend to get the alternator and etc. gonna paint it with high gloss paint before I install. thinking chrome paint with blue accents. I'll research about the wire tuck and I'll also research more into the MAF sensor change over too. if I understood right I'll have to get the flange the sensor mounts into as well. what if I just change the sample tube? I have BBK cold air with in fender air cone.

Thanks dude. Still searching the tuck. Heading to the bone yard for the MAF and alternator. Gonna browse for some hood shocks. I'm thinking a civic set up may work. just gonna search it up. Turning me loose in a bone yard or auto parts house is brutal. I'm like a kid in a candy store lmao. Got my lists from you guys so I'm a man on a mission!!!

ok. got hood strut setup at bone yard Just got to measure and install. also got alternator from 96 thunderbird 3.8. almost brand new

Almost stock was doing his first tuck back in late 90's at the same time I was. Find his tutorial and dig right it. Its easy once you get into it

Let me ask this. I went to auto zone anstiffy don't have 4g wire. I ended up going to Lowes home improvements and bought 4g wire rated at 600 volts. They said it's only rated for 85 amps a/c. Did I get the wrong stuff? And boy it's the write stuff

Back to the hood liner - painting a fiberglass mat - really? What do you do for surface prep? A degreaser seems like a good idea that could get ugly quickly. Most who want color under the hood yank the insulation. But I had summer heat discolor some wax on the top side and had to use meguires stuff to clean it off, polish up then wax it right.

mines kinda weird. it's like fiber glass mesh. hard to explain. feel like felt to the touch. will post before and after pics upon completion
