what parts do i need?

just purchased a t-5 out of a 94 mustang gt.what do i need to use to install it in my 90 gt vert?i have the bellhousing,cable from 94,and clutch.also have 94 starter.is ther anything else i need?what problems am i going to encounter.this is an aod to t-5 swap.

The 94 transmission's input shaft is longer than the 93 and older models. The bellhousing is also different to accomodate the longer input shaft. In simple terms, it isn't going to bolt up without some modification.

94 t-5 in a 90 vert

now i was told recently by a guy on stang net that it would work but i had to use the 94 bell housing with the 94 t-5 because of that 1/2 inch difference.so one person says yes , the other says no.i need to now for sure.

DO A SEARCH THERE ARE 6000 THREADS ON AOD TO T-5 SWAP, IF YOU HAVE A SPECIFIC QUESTION NOT ANSWERED THEN START A THREAD!!!!!!

Even with the 94/95 bellhousing, you will be 1/2" longer. How are you going to deal with the extra length? The drive shaft yoke is splined & slides, but there is no guarantee that it won't bottom out and break something.
