What PCV valve to run on a blown car?

I got the 2.3 turbo PCV which looks like the one above. I also got a "catch can." Fit together real nice and works well!

Allan- What do you mean the black plastic piece comes off? Are you talking about the second hook up above the rubber hose? If so, that doesn't come off. It's all one piece. I just put a vaccum cap over it and used the 3/8" hook up.

I have the same PVC valve that was on the car before it was blown. I just run a breather cap to release crankcase pressure.

Its an oil seperator, it removes the oil out of the re-circulated air that goes past the pcv. It works very well! You dont want to put oil into your intake, do you?? The whole system cost me way less than $20 and took about 20 mins or so to install, and it sure gives me a piece of mind. Im also running the 2.3 turbo pcv.

It's easy to make, you just have to make sure it's set right...

Just so you know though, those things are NOT supposed to be used with synthetic oils (Hausfeld Campbell ones)

Yep, I know, and their also not suppose to be over 120 degrees, that why I mounted mine over by the fender instead of right next to the intake like most people do it.

I knew it wasnt "right there" based on the pic, but I couldnt really tell where it was since it was so close.
