NO, it will not hurt your performance to where as your gonna notice it. but when you hit the juice/install the blower, it will benefit ya more. but yes, run it 1 heat range colder.
I think it just goes in order numerically...I don't remember what a stock one is...like a 25 or something...assuming that one heat range colder would be 24. Either way free bump for ya.
