What power will a stock hypereutectic piston take

hi guys,

whats the power limit of the hypereutectic pistons in a 96 GT ?

its currently only pushing 250 rwhp due to a truley awful set of tuning as 3 companies have eac had a go. So Im planning on a proper tune and that should see me to 275rwhp.

Ive heard that the pistons are ok up to 450 rwhp so i figure that leaves me with enough le-way to add some nitrous..

any thoughts, comments and advice greatly recieved...

I am running 455 rwhp, and they have not broken,,,,,yet....I've heard of people running around 500 rwhp as long as the tune is very good..

marvelous, thats the kinda answer i was looking for......

but

are the 99+ pistons the same as the 96-98 ones, i know the 99+ are dished for the heads but the overall compression ratio is about the same in both engines ?

or am i barking up the wrong tree ?
