what product use to keep engine shiny, i use armor all but it leave shiny finish for only 1 week do you know a better product, what about the high temp engine clear coat and also post engine pics here !!!
Are you talking about plastics or polished metals/chrome?
Zoopseal (I think thats what its called) is supposed to be the best stuff to keep shiny polished things shiny.
You could paint things with either a gloss paint or go back over it with a clear coat. For my lower intake, I bought a can of 500 degree engine primer and gloss black paint. Put a few coats of each on and it still looks just like it did the day I sprayed it on.
I use that wheel tire shine stuff. I think its from black magic. Or the turtle wax one. I spray it on the nittos to make them look good and they do all the stuff under the hood.
Only takes 1 minute and the whole engine compartment is done.
BTW OT, but 1105, PM with with how you polished your intake. By hand, with a drill. Ect. All the polishing threads dont pop up in the search engine.
I use the CD2 engine detailing kit, the dressing that comes with it is a resin and will cure so it doesn't leave everything greasy. Meguiars also makes a product called engine kote, that cures as well. You can find it at www.autogeek.net
