I just send money for some 275/40-17 Nitto DRs  . What PSI does everyone run on the street and at the track? These are going to be my summer tires and need to last (although I know that will come down to my right foot) and have an even wear pattern. Thanks.

In my experience (I have 4 sets) if you run them above 25lbs or so on the street the centers will wear out. At the track I never hooked any better going below 17lbs of air in them. On a 17" tire I personally wouldn't go below 17lbs or so. I managed a 1.66 60' on my 315-35-17 nittos with 17-18lbs of air.

i run in the range of 18-19 lbs all the time it squerms alittle ,but any more air and it just spins too much they won't hook good right away ,but will still be way better that reg. tires, i have had mine on for 4 summers and about 5k miles or so

I completely agree with 25psi on the street. I was running 30psi and wore down the centers. I ran 14psi at the track, with a very good heating.
