what sensor is this on gt40/cobra lower?

what sensor is this? i bought a water temp but i found out it wasnt that becuase the plug doesnt fit. IT IS NOT THE ITEM OUTLINED IN RED, it is to the to the direct right... THANKS

water temp to the gauge cluster

that is the coolant temp sensor used by the eec. the sensor for the gauge is on the right side of the intake. Also on the right side of the intake behind the gauge sensor is another sensor, it is the air charge temp sensor

That spot is for the heater core pipe, it takes coolant to the heater core and also to throttle body egr spacer. That is where mine is never mind i just read it carefully , yes that is for the temp sensor. Sorry
