With the A/C and smog bypassed, I'm running an 81" with underdrives.

underdives shouldent affect the overall length correct, cause your still using the alt, water pump, and crank, which the stock belt still fits with underdrives.

Yep, and when I installed the underdrives, I used the same belt as well. However I recall others not being as fortunate and having to get a different size when switching. Might be the specific pullies they were using, maybe the tensioner was worn out, I on't know. I was providing the info in case it cam into question.

What about if you want to retain your a/c but just eliminate the smog pump?

To be sure you could always use the old string method. Run a piece of string where your belt would be. Measure the string and bamn thats the size
